DayBreak Lavender Farm

Come pick lavender and picnic on the farm during the July & August bloomtime. That is the only time the farm is open to the public.
Private tours by appointment.

We are not -- repeat not -- having our big, multi-vendor Lavender Festival this year ...we're simplifying, lowering the key and kicking back!! And we invite you to come and get some of Ohio's Fines Lavender!!

RARE LONG-STEMMED LAVENDER BOUQUETS PRE-CUT These bouquets are truly breath-taking with stems from 18 to 24 inches. Unbelievably gorgeous. Get some now before they're all gone.

PICK YOUR OWN LAVENDER BOUQUETS for cooking, crafting or drying. We'll be selling them in small, medium and large sizes so you'll be sure to get what you want. And wild Oxeye Daisies are FREE! Picnicing is free and we encourage it ... bring your own food, drink and sit-upons and we'll provide the scenic vistas!!

The DayBreak Boutique -- on the other hand -- is open year 'round and the location and hours are below. Chantal DeRhodes is our Boutique Manager and she is a wealth of information about our products. Thank you for writing us and we hope to see you soon!!

Getting to the Lavender

Yes! We're open on Sundays too due to incredible demand generated by the amazing article in The Plain Dealer!! DayBreak's Lavender Field will open for "bouqueting" Wednesdays through Sundays from noon until 5pm.

Bring your own Picnique! Make a Day of it!

If you would like to picnic on our beautiful grounds, we're happy to invite you to before or after your bouquet picking. Do plan on being a "self-contained foodie unit!" as we will not have any food or drink - or sanitary facilities - available.

The Lavender Bloom Cycle

The English Lavender will come into bloom earliest. Michael expects it the last week of June. Early July means the Grosso and other French Lavenders will be coming on strong.

Just 7 minutes from the farm is DayBreak's charming Boutique, where Chantal DeRhodes, our Boutique Director, will give you a guided tour of the world's finest collection of Lavender-iana. See, touch, smell and feel the very finest lavender soaps, salts, lotions, bath aids, aromatherapy - and even lavender for cooking. Sample Dark Chocolate Lavender Truffles as well as Lavender Tea Cakes.

And guess what? We have about 65 other scents as well. If you love fragrance, this will be the perfect ending to the perfect day!! The boutique is a quick seven minute drive from the farm. Directions are located on the side menu.
